Preventive and Corrective Drawing Therapy
Our therapies are structured in a way to provide healing, delay and/or prevention of a range of diseases, such as hemipharesis (body weakness) due to stroke or brain injury. ♦ We seek to help individuals affected by a cluster of degenerative disorders, including dementia, to effectively cope with their symptoms. ♦ We assist those who are looking for ways to delay/prevent disease onset.

Some simple facts that may help you decide if there is something here for youPerception to Action
Eye and pen trajectories are directly coordinated during the act of live drawing, and there is a direct correspondence between eye location and arm velocity. The eyes track where the pen touches the surface and alternate in leading and following the pen, with a general tendency to be drawn towards minima of tangential arm velocity, just as they follow and lead the hands. (Footnote: Gowen & Miall, Eye–hand interactions in tracing and drawing tasks, 2006; Fan et al., Relating Visual Production and Recognition of Objects in Human Visual Cortex, 2020).
Intensive Brain Training
Intensive training sessions target multiple brain regions and networks aiming to improve attention, working memory, long term memory, spatial and temporal visual processing, verbal cognition, mood, and pro-social behaviour. Our drawing therapy sessions are preventive and corrective alternative to drug treatments aiming to delay and slow cognitive and movement impairment progression.
Personalised and Evidence-based
We cannot promise a cure since neurodegenerative disorders are still a mystery. However, our personalised drawing exercises, based on extensive research and evidence, may slow disease progression, give hope, fight apathy, and help patients manage symptoms. Spend a quality time drawing in a relaxed and supportive art studio environment.
